Data Link Connector (DLC)

Connecting the scan tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC) allows the scan tool to communicate with the following control modules:
^ The powertrain control module
^ The vehicle control module
^ The Supplemental Inflatable Restraint Sensing And Diagnostic Module (SDM)
^ The transfer case shift control module
^ The electronic brake control module
^ The body control module
^ The electronic climate control module
^ The memory seat module
^ The instrument cluster

Monitor system operations for diagnostic purposes by connecting the scan tool to the DLC.
