Power Seat Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





CAUTION: Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the front seat SIR module electrical connector.
2. Disconnect the front seat pre-tensioner electrical connector.
3. Remove the finish cover screws.
4. Remove the finish cover from the seat adjuster.
5. Unsnap the adjuster switch from the finish cover.
6. Disconnect the adjuster switch electrical connector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the adjuster switch electrical connector.
2. Snap the adjuster switch to the finish cover.
3. Install the finish cover to the seat adjuster.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the finish cover screws.

Tighten
Tighten the finish cover screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Connect the front seat pre-tensioner electrical connector.
6. Connect the front seat SIR module electrical connector.
