Cruise Off On R/A Switch

RESUME




When you hold the OFF/ON R/A switch in the R/A (resume/accelerate) position, the system enters the resume mode. The cruise control operation returns to the last cruise speed setting. In order to activate the cruise control option, the vehicle speed must exceed 40 km/h (25 mph).

ACCELERATE
When you hold the OFF/ON R/A switch in the R/A (resume/accelerate) position for more than 1 second, the system enters the accelerate mode. In order to increase the cruise speed, perform the following steps:
1. Ensure that the vehicle is traveling at least 40 km/h (25 mph).
2. Hold the OFF/ON R/A switch in the R/A position until the vehicle reaches the desired cruise speed. When you release the OFF/ON R/A switch to the ON position, the system maintains the new cruise speed.

TAP-UP
The driver may increase the cruise speed in 2 km/h (1 mph) increments using the tap-up function. Complete the following steps in order to perform this function:
1. Ensure that the cruise is engaged and operating.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT hold the lever in the R/A position. The system will revert to the accelerate mode.

2. Press the OFF/ON R/A switch toward the R/A position and quickly release (tap) the lever.
