Air Injection Pump Relay: Service and Repair




REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Disconnect the AIR pump and solenoid relay electrical connector.
3. Release the AIR pump and solenoid relay mounting bracket tang.
4. Pull up on the relay (3) in order to release the relay.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Install the AIR pump relay (3). Ensure the mounting bracket tang engages to the relay.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the AIR pump and solenoid relay.
4. Test the AIR system for proper operation.
