Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Remove the electrical connector and hose from the EVAP canister purge valve.
3. Remove the hold down bolt from the EVAP canister purge valve.
4. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the EVAP canister purge valve to the intake.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Reinstall the hold down bolt through the EVAP canister purge valve.
3. Connect the electrical connector and hose to the EVAP canister purge valve.
