n. Transmission Cover Disassemble

1. Place the selector arm plates and the shift shaft in neutral position (centered).
2. Rotate the shift shaft until the selector arm disengages from the selector arm plates and the roll pin is accessible.
3. Drive out the selector arm roll pin.





4. Remove the following components from the cover:
- The shift shaft
- The shift forks
- The shift fork plates
- The selector arm interlock plate
- The roll pin





5. Remove the O-ring seal.





6. Remove the nylon inserts and the shift fork plates from the shift forks.
