r. Main Drive Gear Assemble

- Tools Required
- J 22912-01 Bearing And Gear Puller
- J 6133-01 Installer

1. Install the bearing on the main drive gear. Using the J 22912-01, the J 6133-01, and a hydraulic press.

2. Apply grease GM P/N 12377985 or equivalent to the roller bearings and drive gear bearing bore.

3. Install the roller bearings into the bore of the drive gear.

4. Install the thrust bearing and the thrust bearing race into the drive gear.
