Horn: Service and Repair




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the front bumper fascia air deflector.
3. Remove the horn mounting bolt (2).
4. Remove the horns from the right engine compartment side outer rail.
5. Disconnect the horn electrical connector (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the horn electrical connector (1).
2. Align horns to rear two holes in right engine compartment side outer rail.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the horn mounting bolt (2).

Tighten
Tighten the horn bolt (2) to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

4. Install the front bumper fascia air deflector.
5. Lower the vehicle.
