Rear Compartment Lid Latch Release Cable Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the release handle cover.




2. Remove the remote release handle screws (3).
3. Remove the remote release handle nuts (1).




4. Remove the remote release cable (2) from the remote release handle (1).
5. Remove the remote release handle (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the remote release handle (1).
2. Install the remote release cable (2) to the remote release handle (1).






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the remote release handle screws (3) and nuts (1).

Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (12 lb in).

4. Install the release handle cover.
