Case: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the reverse lockout solenoid. Refer to Reverse Lockout Solenoid.
3. Remove the transmission vent tube retaining bolt.
4. Remove the transmission vent tube.


Installation Procedure





1. Install the transmission vent tube.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the transmission vent tube retaining bolt.
Tighten the transmission vent tube retaining bolt to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the reverse lockout solenoid. Refer to Reverse Lockout Solenoid.
4. Lower the vehicle.
