Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the electrical connector from the IAT sensor by releasing the locking tab.
3. Remove the IAT sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the IAT sensor.

Tighten
Tighten the IAT sensor to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

2. Install the electrical connector.

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the PCM electrical harness is properly routed to avoid contact with the engine cover during installation.

3. Install the engine cover.
