C69 A/C System Refrigerant Flow:

The rear A/C system operates with the front system. The rear A/C system does not operate independently. However, control of the rear A/C system is possible when the front system is not operating. Rear air circulation without the refrigerant function is possible by operating the rear blower control switch.

The rear A/C system operates on inside, or recirculated, air. Air enters the rear A/C system and passes through the evaporator core into the passenger compartment through the air distribution duct. A 3-speed blower switch controls the rear overhead system.
