Battery: Description and Operation

Clean any corrosion from the battery carrier and the hold-down clamp before installing the battery. Ensure the carrier is in sound condition in order to hold the battery securely and keep the battery level. Ensure there are no parts in the carrier before installing the battery. In order to prevent the battery from shaking in the carrier, tighten the hold-down bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
