Horn: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the right headlamp.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the horn.




4. Remove the bolt from the horn mounting bracket.
5. Remove the horn from the frame rail extension.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the horn to the frame rail extension.
2. Install the bolts to the horn mounting bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the horn mounting bracket bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).




3. Connect the electrical connector to the horn.
4. Install the right headlamp.
5. Close the hood.
