Refrigerant Oil: Service and Repair

COMPRESSOR OIL LEVEL CHECK

IMPORTANT: This procedure applies only to pickup models with the Delphi-Harrison compressor.

Up to 120 ml (4 fl oz) of oil can collect in the crankcase. When you replace a compressor, drain and measure the old compressor crankcase oil. Discard the oil after recording the amount.

All replacement compressors are shipped dry. Follow the instructions shipped with the dry replacement compressor.
