Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement
3. Remove the nuts and the washers from the bracket.
4. Remove the bolt from the bracket.
5. Remove the bracket from the vehicle

Installation Procedure





1. Install the bracket to the vehicle.
2. Install the bolt to the frame and the bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the washers and the nuts to the bracket.
Tighten the nuts to 90 Nm (70 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the differential carrier assembly. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Replacement.
5. Lower the vehicle.
