Indicator Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front differential carrier shield. Refer to Shield Replacement.
2. Remove the electrical connector (1) from the indicator switch (2) located on the upper left side of the transfer case (3).
3. Remove the indicator switch (2).


Installation Procedure





1. Coat the indicator switch (2) threads with sealer. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations.
2. Install the indicator switch (2).
3. Install the electrical connector (1).
4. Install the front differential carrier shield. Refer to Shield Replacement.
