Front Seat Armrest Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Fold the armrest (2) down.
2. Remove the armrest pivot bolts (5) and washers (1, 3).
3. Remove the armrest from the support cover (4) and support bracket (6).
4. Remove the cover from the support bracket.
5. Remove the armrest support bracket nuts (7).
6. Remove the support bracket from the seat.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the support bracket to the seat.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the armrest support bracket nuts (7).

Tighten the armrest support bracket nuts to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

3. Push the support cover to the bracket.
4. Install the armrest to the support bracket (6).
5. Install the armrest pivot bolts (5) and washers (1, 3).

Tighten the armrest pivot bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

6. Return the armrest (2) to the original position.
