REMOVAL PROCEDURE






1. Remove the generator rear brace stud from the generator.
2. Remove the generator rear brace nut from the engine stud on the engine intake manifold.
3. Remove the generator rear brace.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE






1. Install the generator rear brace to the generator and to the engine stud on the intake manifold.
2. Finger tighten the generator rear brace stud to the generator.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions

3. Install the generator rear brace nut to the engine stud on the engine intake manifold.

Tighten
Tighten the generator rear brace nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Tighten the generator rear brace stud.

Tighten
Tighten the generator rear brace stud to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
