Wiper Gear Box: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the wiper motor.
2. Remove the two boots from the wiper transmission drive shafts.
3. Remove the four screws and the wiper transmission from the tube frame.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the wiper transmission with the four screws on the tube frame.

Tighten
Tighten the four screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

2. Install the two boots on the wiper transmission drive shafts.
3. Install the wiper motor.
