Windshield Washer Switch: Service and Repair




REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Handling Caution in Service Precautions

1. Disable the SIR System.
2. Remove the knee bolster.
3. Disconnect the rear wiper/washer electrical connector.
4. Use a pick in order to push up on the clip on the bottom of the rear wiper/washer switch (9).
5. Remove the rear wiper/washer switch (9) from the left garnish trim panel (10).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the rear wiper/washer electrical connector.
2. Install the rear wiper/washer switch (9) to the left garnish trim panel (10). Push in the switch until the clip engages fully.
3. Install the knee bolster.
4. Enable the SIR System.
