Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair

BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
2. Disconnect the electrical connector of the blower-motor resistor.
3. Remove 1 screw (3) and the blower-motor resistor (2) from the blower case (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the resistor (2) to the blower case (1).
Secure the resistor with the 1 screw (3).
2. Connect the electrical connector of the blower-motor resistor electrical connector.
3. Install the PCM.
