Audible Warning Device Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the IP drivers knee bolster reinforcement.
3. Remove the screw (2) from Junction Block #2 (1) and position the junction block in order to gain access to the multifunction alarm module.




4. Disconnect the 2 multifunction alarm module electrical connectors.
5. Disconnect the multifunction alarm module (1) from the rear of Junction Block #2 (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the multifunction alarm module (1) to the rear of Junction Block #2 (2).
2. Connect the 2 multifunction alarm module electrical connectors.




3. Reposition Junction Block #2 (1) back into position. Secure the junction block with the screw (2).
4. Install the IP drivers knee bolster reinforcement.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
