Rear Seat Back Release Latch Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the screws (1) that retains the rear seat release latch (2) to the rear seat back.




2. Remove the cable (2) from the slot (1) on the rear seat release latch.
3. Remove the rear seat release latch.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the rear seat release latch on the seat back.




2. Install the cable (2) in the slot (1) on the rear seat release latch.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the rear seat release latch (2) to the seat back with the 2 mounting screws (1).

Tighten the rear seat back release latch screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
