Oil Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair




REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 41712 oil pressure sending unit socket

CAUTION: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the engine oil pressure sensor (1) using J 41712 oil pressure sending unit socket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the engine oil pressure sensor (1) using J 41712.

Tighten
Tighten the engine oil pressure sensor to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Lower the vehicle.
