Endgate Hinge Replacement (Lower)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the right tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement.
2. Remove the 4 bolts (1) which secure the endgate lower hinge (2) to the endgate panel.
3. Remove the 3 bolts (3) which secure the endgate lower hinge (2) to the door jamb.
4. Remove the endgate lower hinge (2) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the endgate lower hinge (2) to the vehicle. Secure the hinge to the door jamb with the 3 mounting bolts (3). Do not tighten fully at this time.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 4 bolts (1) which secure the endgate lower hinge (2) to the endgate panel.

Tighten the endgate lower hinge mounting bolts to 34 N.m (25 lb ft).

3. Install the right tail lamp. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement.
