Brake Light Switch: Adjustments

1. Pull up the brake pedal and hold the pedal in this position.
2. Adjust the stoplamp switch (2).
- The clearance between the end of the thread and the brake pedal stopper (3) should be 1.5 - 2.0 mm (0.06 - 0.08 inch).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Tighten the lock nut.
- Tighten the lock nut to 7.5 Nm (66.4 inch lbs.).
