Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the front differential actuator pump assembly from the front bumper impact bar. Refer to Electric Motor Actuator Replacement.
3. Remove the 2 bolts and the front bumper center lower mounting bracket.
4. Remove the 4 bolts and the front bumper impact bar from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure


Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the front bumper impact bar to the vehicle. Secure the impact bar with the 4 bolts.

Tighten the front bumper impact bar bolts to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

2. Install the front bumper center lower mounting bracket to the vehicle. Secure the bracket with the 2 bolts.

Tighten the front bumper center lower mounting bracket bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).

3. Install the front differential actuator pump assembly to the front bumper impact bar. Refer to Electric Motor Actuator Replacement.
4. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Service and Repair) .
