Cigarette Lighter: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the radio.
2. Remove the cigar lighter bulb socket (1) from the cigar tighter (3).
3. Disconnect the cigar lighter electrical connector (2).




4. Unscrew the retaining nut (1) from the rear of the cigar lighter (2) which secures the lighter.
5. Remove the cigar lighter assembly (2,3) from the instrument panel.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the cigar lighter assembly (2,3) to the instrument panel. Secure the assembly with the retaining nut (1).




2. Connect the cigar lighter electrical connector (2).
3. Install the cigar lighter bulb socket (1) to the cigar lighter (3).
4. Install the radio.
