Knee Bolster Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the following components from the instrument panel:

1. The 3 screws (2)
2. The IP steering column opening trim plate (1)





2. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

1. The 4 bolts (1 or 4)
2. The IP drivers knee bolster panel (2 or 3)




Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the IP drivers knee bolster panel (2 or 3). Secure the panel with the 4 bolts (1 or 4).

Tighten the knee bolster panel bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).





2. Install the IP steering column opening trim plate (1) to the instrument panel. Secure the trim plate with the 3 screws (2).
