Front Seat Armrest Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Recline the seat back to a full upright position.
2. Remove the front seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement) .
3. Remove the J retainer from the bottom edge of the seat back trim cover.
4. Reach underneath the trim cover.
5. Release the C-clip from the armrest pivot shaft while pushing in on the armrest.
6. Remove the armrest from the seat.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the armrest to the seat.

Important: Ensure that you reset the C-clip (open end facing downwards) into the slotted shaft if the armrest C-clip becomes disengaged from the slotted shaft during the removal of the armrest.


2. Push inward on the armrest in order to seat the C-clip onto the armrest pivot shaft.
3. Install the J retainer at the bottom edge of the seat back trim cover.
4. Install the front seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (Bucket Seat Replacement) .
5. Return the seat back to the original position.
