Weatherstrip Replacement - Sliding Door Window

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the sliding door swing out window. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .




2. Pull the sliding door window weatherstrip from the pinch-weld flange.
3. Remove the sliding door window weatherstrip from the sliding door.



Installation Procedure






Important: The swing out window weatherstrip service replacement part is a cut-to-fit part. The weatherstrip must be trimmed to fit the window opening and joined together.


1. Install the sliding door window weatherstrip to the sliding door.
2. Align the sliding door window weatherstrip to so the joint is at the center of the sliding door window latch attachment point.
3. Roll the sliding door window weatherstrip from the joint to the bottom of the window in order to ensure a proper seal.
4. Install the sliding door swing out window. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement) .
