Tail Lamp: Service and Repair




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The back-up lamp and rear fog lamp (Export vehicle only) are part of the tail lamp assembly. Use this replacement procedure for both.
1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the screws from the tail lamp.
3. Pull the tail lamp from the body.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Align the tail lamp locking guide pins to the body.
3. Press the tail lamp into the locking guide pin holes.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the screws to the tail lamp.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Close the liftgate.
