Quarter Window Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front trim panel from the left body side . Refer to Body Side Front Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Body Side Front Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side) in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the upper trim panel from the rear body side. Refer to Third Pillar Trim Replacement (Trim Replacement - Third Pillar) in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the upper pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement) in Interior Trim.




4. Remove the latch screws from the front quarter window.




5. Remove the stud nuts from the front quarter window hinge.




6. Remove the front quarter window from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the front quarter window to the vehicle.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the stud nuts to the front quarter window hinge.

Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).





3. Install the latch screws to the front quarter window.

Tighten the screws to 8 N.m (70 lb in).

4. Install the front trim panel to the left body side. Refer to Body Side Front Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (Body Side Front Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side) in Interior Trim.
5. Install the upper trim panel to the rear body side. Refer to Third Pillar Trim Replacement (Trim Replacement - Third Pillar) in Interior Trim.
6. Install the upper pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement) in Interior Trim.
