Blade Element Replacement - Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the wiper blade from the wiper arm.
2. Remove the rubber wiper element from the element vertebra.




3. Remove the element vertebra and end cap from the wiper blade.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: The end cap should be installed on the end of the wiper blade that will be the farthest from the wiper motor drive shaft.




1. Install the end cap on the wiper blade.

IMPORTANT: The element must be secure in all the claw sets.

2. Install the new element into the wiper blade and the end cap until the inner claw set engages the vertebra notches.
3. Install the wiper blade onto the wiper arm.
