Starter Relay: Service and Repair

STARTER MOTOR RELAY REPLACEMENT

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 43244 Relay Puller Pliers

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the Underhood Bussed Electrical Center (UBEC) cover.
2. Using the J 43244, remove the starter motor relay. For location, refer to Electrical Center Identification Views in Diagrams.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the starter motor relay. For location, refer to Electrical Center Identification Views in Diagrams.
2. Install the Underhood Bussed Electrical Center (UBEC) cover.
