Console Replacement - Front Floor

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Release the snaps on the shift boot, if manual transmission.




2. Remove the front screw cover using a small flat-bladed tool.




3. Remove the center storage pocket using a small flat-bladed tool, if equipped.




4. Remove the power window switch plate; if. equipped.
5. Raise the front floor console armrest.
6. Remove the bolts from the front floor console.




7. Remove the front floor console lifting up and back guiding the shift boot over the shift knob (if equipped) and the emergency brake handle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the front floor console guiding the shift boot over the shift knob (if equipped) and the emergency brake handle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




2. Install the bolts to the front floor console.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to the front floor console to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Lower the front floor console armrest.




4. Install the center storage pocket pressing into place until fully seated, if equipped.




5. Install the power window switch plate, if equipped.
6. Install the front screw cover pressing into place until fully seated.




7. Attach the snaps on the shift boot, if manual transmission.
