Horn: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the right headlamp assembly in order to gain access to the horn.
2. Remove the nut (3) from the horn mounting bracket.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the horn.
4. Remove the horn from the front rail.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the horn to the front rail.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the nut (3) to the horn mounting bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the horn mounting bracket nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the horn.
4. Install the right headlamp assembly. Headlamp Replacement in Lighting and Horns.
