Wiper Motor Cover Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the wiper arms.
2. Remove the plenum chamber water deflector. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
3. Remove the screws and the wiper motor cover from the wiper motor.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the wiper motor cover onto the wiper motor with the three screws.

Tighten
Tighten the wiper motor screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

2. Install the plenum chamber water deflector. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
3. Install the wiper arms.
4. Operate the wipers and inspect for proper operation.
