Intermittent Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)
In the case of an intermittent malfunction, the
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may illuminate, but the MIL will turn OFF after 3 trips. The corresponding diagnostic trouble code will be stored in the memory, however. When an unexpected diagnostic trouble code appears, check for an intermittent malfunction.
