Air Injection Control Valve: Service and Repair

SECONDARY AIR INJECTION (AIR) SHUT OFF VALVE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove shut-off valve outlet hose from shut-off valve.
3. Remove vacuum line from shut-off valve.
4. Remove pump outlet hose from the shut-off valve.
5. Remove the shut-off valve.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the shut-off valve to the pump outlet hose.
2. Install the vacuum line to the shut-off valve.
3. Install the shut-off valve outlet hose to the shut-off valve.
4. Lower vehicle.
