Power Mirror Switch: Service and Repair

POWER MIRROR SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front door trim plate (1).
2. Remove the electrical connector (2) from the power mirror switch (9).
3. Release the clip that retains the escutcheon to the front door trim plate (1).
4. Remove the escutcheon and the power mirror switch (9) from the front door trim plate (1).
5. Release the retaining tabs on the power mirror switch (9) from the escutcheon.
6. Remove the power mirror switch (9) from the escutcheon.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the power mirror switch (9) to the escutcheon
2. Press on the power mirror switch (9) in order to engage the retaining tabs to the escutcheon.
3. Install the escutcheon and the power mirror switch (9) to the front door trim plate (1).
4. Press on the escutcheon and the power mirror switch (9) in order to engage the retaining tabs to the front door trim plate (1).
5. Install the electrical connector (2) to the power mirror switch (9).
6. Install the front door trim plate (1).
