Air Injection Hose/Tube: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the outlet hose clamp at the intermediate pipe.
2. Remove the outlet hose from the intermediate pipe.
3. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
4. Remove the fasteners from the front portion of the left front wheel well/splash shield. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
5. Reposition the splash shield to gain access 10 the outlet hose.
6. Remove the outlet hose from the pump.
7. Remove the outlet hose from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the outlet hose to the vehicle.
2. Install the outlet hose to the pump.
3. Raise the wheel well/splash shield into position.
4. Install the wheel well/splash shield fasteners.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Install the outlet hose to the intermediate pipe.
7. Install the outlet hose clamp at the intermediate pipe.
