Antitheft Relay: Service and Repair




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right side instrument panel insulator.
3. Remove the instrument panel compartment.
4. Remove the theft deterrent relay from the theft deterrent module bracket (3).
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the relay (5).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector to the theft deterrent relay (5).
2. Install the theft deterrent relay to the theft deterrent module bracket (3).
3. Install the instrument panel compartment.
4. Install the right side instrument panel insulator.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
