Radiator Hose Replacement -Inlet

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Radiator Cap Removal Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Drain the engine coolant.





2. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp on the radiator inlet hose (2) at the radiator.
3. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp on the radiator inlet hose at the coolant pipe. Remove the radiator hose (2).


Installation Procedure





1. Position a new hose clamp on each end of the new radiator inlet hose (2) before installation.
2. Install the new radiator hose to the coolant pipe and to the radiator.
3. Secure with two hose clamps.
4. Fill the radiator with an approved coolant.
