Multifunction Switch Assembly Replacement - Instrument Panel

Removal Procedure






1. Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel Gauges and Warning Indicators.






2. Remove the multifunction switch assembly screws from the switch bank to instrument panel.
3. Pull straight out from the instrument panel in order to remove the switch bank from the instrument panel.






4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure






1. Connect the electrical connectors.
2. Push in on the switch bank in order to install the switch bank.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.






3. Install the multifunction switch assembly screws to the switch bank to instrument panel.

Tighten
Tighten the multifunction switch assembly screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).






4. Install the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - IP in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
