Daytime Running Lamp Control Unit: Service and Repair

DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS (DRL) CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Starting and Charging.
2. Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to in Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.




3. Slide the daytime running lamp module from the bracket.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the daytime running lamp module in the bracket.




2. Slide the daytime running lamp module into the bracket in order to secure the module.
3. Connect the electrical connectors.
4. Install the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Starting and Charging.
