REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disable the SIR system.
2. Remove the passenger front seat.
3. Unclip the J-clips on the back of the passenger's seat.
4. Using a flat head screwdriver, remove the plastic molding (2) that holds the passenger side air bag inflator module (1) to the passenger seat back frame.




5. Note the routing of the passenger side air bag inflator module wiring harness (2) and retaining clip attachments within the passenger seat.
6. Remove the passenger side air bag inflator module wiring harness retaining clips from the passenger seat frame.
7. Remove the passenger side air bag inflator module wiring harness (2) from the passenger seat frame.
8. Remove the passenger side air bag inflator module (1) from the passenger seat back frame.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the passenger side air bag inflator module wiring harness (2) to the passenger seat frame, while guiding the wiring harness through the appropriate spots on the passenger seat frame.
2. Install the passenger side air bag inflator module wiring harness retaining clips to the passenger seat frame.




3. Install the plastic molding (2) that holds the passenger side air bag inflator module (1) to the passenger seat back frame.
4. Install the passenger side air bag inflator module (1) to the passenger seat back frame
5. Connect the J-clips on the back of the passenger's seat.
6. Install the passenger front seat.
7. Enable the SIR system.
