Transmission Temperature Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disconnect the transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor electrical connector (1).
2. Remove the TFT sensor (2).

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the TFT sensor (2).

Tighten the sensor to 24 Nm (18 lb ft).

2. Connect the TFT sensor electrical connector (1).
