HVAC Control Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the IP bezel assembly screws.
2. Remove the IP bezel assembly.
3. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement Service and Repair in Entertainment.




4. Remove the HVAC control assembly screws.
5. Remove the HVAC control assembly (2).




6. Disconnect the mode cable from the HVAC control assembly.
7. Disconnect the temperature control cable from the HVAC control assembly.
8. Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the HVAC control assembly (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Connect the mode cable to the HVAC control assembly.
2. Connect the temperature control cable to the HVAC control assembly.




3. Connect the electrical connector (4) to the HVAC control assembly (1).




4. Install the HVAC control assembly (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the HVAC control assembly screws.

Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

6. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement Service and Repair in Entertainment.
7. Install the IP bezel assembly.
8. Install the IP bezel assembly screws to the instrument panel.

Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).
